PROJECT
This project addresses the insufficient use of bilingual Slovak-English public administration terminology and the low level of awareness regarding the importance of terminology. It focuses on applied research aimed at creating a consistent terminological framework at the local government level, which is essential for interdisciplinary collaboration and international communication. The project stems from the need to share and manage scientifically validated terminological resources in a digital environment, which has a fundamental impact on linguistic diversity and the integration of Slovakia. The project is grounded in scientific research that addresses current challenges in the field of terminology, such as the digitization of glossaries, interactive collaboration, and the creation of a multilingual online database. It draws on the results of basic research that has published key studies on public administration terminology and the categorization of conceptual systems. The research findings include the use of concept-oriented terminology, systematic management of terminology records, and an interdisciplinary approach to terminology work.
